VAT and tax information in the store

Customers within the European Union (euro zone):

• Purchases made by private individuals in the European Union are subject to VAT, according to current regulations. Directive 2006/112/EC (OJEU L 347/1, 2006)

• Business customers with a valid intra-community VAT number may be exempt from VAT (reverse charge system).

Customers outside the European Union:

• Sales to customers outside the European Union are exempt from European VAT. The customer may be subject to import taxes or local taxes in his country of destination. Directive 2006/112/EC (OJEU L 347/1, 2006)

Customers in the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla:

• Orders placed from the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla are not subject to peninsular VAT. Instead, IGIC (Impuesto General Indirecto Canario) will be applied in the Canary Islands, or the corresponding local taxes in Ceuta and Melilla.

• The customer may be required to pay IGIC or customs duties upon receipt of the order.

We recommend that all our customers consult the tax regulations in force in their region to avoid possible additional customs charges or local taxes.
