The Lithium Solar Battery 5120W Voltem 48V is a Lithium-Ion Phosphate battery internally constituted by LiFePo4 modules, with a standard 19″ rack format. This makes it easy to expand the system when necessary, up to 16 modules without HUB access. This modularity makes it suitable for both small and large storage systems, occupying less space.

Compatibility5120W Voltem Lithium Battery Compatibilities with Inverters

It can be connected to many inverters on the market. It includes numerous communication parameters that allow this battery to share its load data and thus operate correctly and safely. It has a Canbus communication port and RS485 to communicate directly with inverters. It has built-in intelligent BMS, compatible with more than 30 inverters of brands such as those mentioned below:

• Growatt Invesores Growatt: Compatible with Growatt MIC Series 750-3300 TL-X / Growatt MIN Series (2500-6000) TL-X / Growatt Hybrid SPH 3000
• Victorn Inverters: Can work with multiplus and quattro models
• Sofar Inverters: The entire range of Sofar hybrid 48 volt inverters can operate with communication with the Voltem 4800W battery. The manufacturer Sofar recommends a minimum of two units.
• SolarEdge inverters: include a variety of options such as the single-phase SE 3K – 10K / HD-Wave models. Or three-phase models such as SE 12.5K – 27.6K, SE 25K / 30K / 33.3K, SE 50K / 55K / 82.8K.
• Deye Inverters: including all 48V Deye range can operate with communication with 4800W Voltem Lithium battery.
• Axpert Voltronic Inverters: The entire range of 48 volt MK, MKS, MKS II, VM and VM IV hybrid inverters are compatible with the 4800W Voltem lithium battery and operate without communication.

 

Mounting and parallel connection of several Voltem 48V lithium batteries

The Voltem 5120W lithium solar battery can be mounted in parallel with more modules using the Ethernet communication cable included with each battery. We can parallel up to a maximum of 16 batteries without HUB access (up to 72.96 kWh). For mounting, Brackets (not included) that allow stacking up to 6 batteries or a rack cabinet, which allows the integrity of the system, must be used.

The 5120W Voltem 48V lithium solar battery is a state-of-the-art lithium accumulator with many advantages over lead acid batteries.

1. Low weight and volumeThanks to its high energy density we have stored 4.8 kw in only 42 kg of weight. For a lead-acid battery we need about 98kg for the same capacity. The size is also smaller so we need less space and can even make portable systems in applications that require it thanks to its greater manageability.
2. High number of cycles: Lithium has far superior qualities of use than lead acid. So if a tubular plate lead acid battery has about 1500 cycles at 80% discharge, the Voltem lithium battery delivers more than 6000 cycles at 95% discharge.
3. Maintenance-free: The lithium battery does not require any maintenance or liquid filling during its lifetime. As it is a sealed module, it does not give off gases or odors, so it can be installed indoors. It should be avoided to work in very extreme environments of temperature and humidity to extend duration as long as possible.
4. It offers better value for money. It has a much greater depth of discharge, reaching up to 95% during 6000 cycles.
5. Increased loading speedOne of the main advantages is that the lithium battery can be charged at a rate of 2C, even if necessary at 1C. Therefore, if we have a charger with sufficient power, in 2 hours we can charge the battery from a full discharge. And if necessary, a full charge can also be done in 1 hour. The BMS (Battery Monitoring System) automatically performs a balancing to ensure that all batteries have the same charge.
