6V 6-FS-GC-HC Battery Characteristics
The Rolls 6FSGC-HC deep cycle 6V 235Ah (C100) battery incorporates a new plate design with a larger surface area and higher density paste, providing increased performance for high cycle applications.
The Rolls FS series stands out for its high performance:

Ideal battery for use in recreational vehicles, floor scrubbers, aerial work platforms, stackers, pallet trucks, golf carts, emergency equipment, electric vehicles, and renewable energy applications.
This Rolls battery model is a 6V battery, to modify the working voltage of the machine to 12V, 24V or 48V, several batteries must be connected in series. For example, to operate at 12V we must connect 2 units of this battery in series. And so respectively for other voltages that we want to connect. We will have to use a section of wiring according to the intensity that is going to be demanded.
6V Rolls 6FSGC-HC 6FSGC-HC battery life
The service life of the Rolls 6-FS-GC-HC battery depends on the depth of discharge it undergoes. At a 50% depth of discharge, it lasts for 1,200 charge/discharge cycles. If subjected to an 80% depth of discharge, its lifespan will be 700 charge/discharge cycles.
Depending on the usage intensity, the 6FSGC model has a capacity of 186 ampere-hours (Ah) at a 5-hour discharge rate (C5), 235 ampere-hours (Ah) at a 20-hour discharge rate (C20), and 301 ampere-hours (Ah) at a 100-hour discharge rate (C100).
These figures indicate the battery’s ability to supply current at different discharge rates, which is important in determining its performance in various applications. Such as solar systems, golf carts, caravans and other applications that require a constant, deep-cycle power supply.
Battery charging and maintenance 6FSGC-HC
The Rolls 6-FS-GC-HC battery is lead acid and requires proper maintenance to ensure optimum performance and service life.
Regular Recharging: It is important to recharge the battery regularly to avoid deep discharge, which can reduce battery life.
2. Cleaning: Keeping the terminals and battery surface clean and free of corrosion is essential for optimum performance. A mixture of water and baking soda can be used to clean the terminals.
Water Levels: If the battery is of the maintenance type, it is necessary to check and, if necessary, top up the distilled water levels on a regular basis.
4. Storage: If the battery is not used for an extended period of time, it is important to store it in a cool, dry place and keep it charged.
5. Charging: The 6V 235Ah Rolls 6FSGC-HC battery can be recharged with a conventional charger or a solar regulator between 15 and 30 amps maximum. We must take into account the appropriate voltage for the different charging stages, for absorption charging it is 2.5v per cell and for float charging it is 2.25v. For example for a 24V battery, with 4 batteries connected in series of 6V, the absorption charge is 30V and the float charge is 27V.
